Together they form the backbone of all safety initiatives across the Company. You can read them in detail here >> Safety forms an integral part of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (COBE). Each of our employees signs up to the commitment towards safety, health and environment, every year.   Roles and Responsibilities Safety at Dr. Reddy's is a priority for everyone, from top management to workmen on the shop floor. Clarity on KPIs and an attitude of ownership enable achievement of desired safety goals. We have a well-defined organisational structure with stated roles and responsibilities to cascade safety across hierarchies. This structure is as follows: Corporate Safety Steering Committee ensures agenda driven review of implementation status of all seven work streams of Parivartan.     BU SHE council, Safety Zonal Committee and Safety Zone Owners maintain safety standards and conduct review meeting.     Site Head is accountable for the safety performance of the site. Head of Department owns the safety performance of all safety zones falling under his/her department / function.     SHE Head ensures safety management system for improved safety performance.     Safety Zone Owner ensures safety of employees and contractors working in his/her zone.
