Inefficient management of the procurement process may lead to suppliers losing interest in competing for procurement contracts, leading to fewer choices, higher delivery time and higher prices.   INTERVENTION Our supplier engagement portal 'Vikreta' has been revamped and the entire process right from 'request for quotation' (RFQ) to 'final invoice' has been made digital. The objectives are multifold:   Smooth flow of touch points Transparency and visibility in P2P chain Faster processing and on time payment Efficient resource utilisation Competitive advantage   Developed at an investment of ₹12 million, this digitalisation at every stage of the P2P process has ushered in a new wave of procurement excellence.   OUTCOME End-to-end integration & accountability Moving from multiple systems for sourcing to a single, transparent and integrated system Better visibility to business partners on PO, PO acknowledgement, GRN, Job Completion Report, Service Entry Sheet and Invoice Status Efficiency in invoice processing, deviation management and vendor registration   Effective and timely price discovery Better user experience for business partners Supplementary features like 'Technical support' and 'Assistance' aid business partners in solving technical issues and resolving pending payment issues Allows end-to-end visibility   Improvement in on-time payment to business partners Sustainable management of paper, partners and procurement
