AUTOMATION
ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE
Dignity of labour and enhanced safety goals have seen us swiftly switch from muscle power to machine power. By accelerating mechanisation and automation at our units, we have repurposed our human resources towards a higher purpose and more productive work. It has also manifested into operational excellence due to improved productivity, better consistency in quality and shorter turnaround times.
We are also speeding up digitisation across the key product development functions through design and deployment of large-scale projects like Laboratory Information Management System, Manufacturing Execution System and Learning Management System.
All our new plants are next-generation manufacturing blueprints and our existing plants are being migrated to smarter technologies.

Engineering Excellence at Dr. Reddy's
is all about freeing the human ingenuity
for innovation, while deploying
machines for laborious repetitive tasks.
Thus we are accelerating digital
manufacturing, automation and
mechanisation. Our facilities have been
equipped with new generation shop
floor management, in-plant processes
have been automated for more error-
free results, and Process Analytical
Technology (PAT) has been
implemented at new plants to monitor
and measure online processes,
ensuring product quality.
 
Our SEZ plant is a next-generation
plant with 'Paperless manufacturing'
and uses Electronic Batch Processing
Record (eBPR) to automatically
generate usage logs, ensuring 100%
compliance and enhancing regulator
confidence.
While new manufacturing facilities are
born with new age technology
embedded in them, existing plants are
being rapidly upgraded to bring them
at par with the new ones.
