SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH
OVERVIEW
Climate change is no more a forecast. It's a glaring truth. Work-life balance is no longer nice to have. It is a must for sustainable employee productivity. Only profits no longer guarantee long-term growth. It is purpose that goes a long way. Clearly, sustainability is no more a paradigm of the future. It is a pressing need of the present.
That sustainability is only about protecting our future is a thing of the past. Its financial, social and ecological implications are already visible. More glaringly than ever. The need for a cohesive triple bottom line approach, therefore, is not just important but urgent. Thus, this year the new construct we added to our sustainability approach is 'speed'.
We are now not only empathetic at heart, but also dynamic in action. We define growth not only in terms of enhanced profit, but in terms of accelerated patient reach. We think lean and act fast. We are committed to make 21st century medicines, sooner than later.
We are gearing up to be the first to respond and the fastest to act. We are committed to find swift and sustainable ways to tackle the toughest challenges. We see medicines not just as molecules, but as ways to help more and more patients regain their health, speedily. We fast track people productivity by empowering talent with professional freedom, a safe environment and development opportunities.
