At Dr. Reddy's, we are encouraging a 'lean manufacturing culture' in the organisation through awareness and training on lean concept. We conduct mass training of six sigma to institutionalise lean manufacturing. In the reporting period too, a series of training and certification programmes, internal and external, were organised for different cross-functional groups.   Internal Training Sessions   External Training and Certification Programmes Lean phase 1 - Five sessions covering 130 participants Six sigma basics - Five sessions covering 150 participants 5S awareness and implementation programme – Three sessions covering 65 participants MSA and process capability – Three sessions covering 45 participants Weekly shop floor trainings for front line operators on 5S training, overall equipment effectiveness etc.   Lean six sigma green belt: 56 people have been identified to undergo green belt training - training for 25 green belts are already in progress Lean six sigma black belt: Three people completed and four are undergoing training from American Society of Quality Certification body
