SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH |
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT |
|
Engagement Initiatives |
Over and above the robust engagement mechanisms, we also undertake special initiatives to strengthen the engagement between
Dr. Reddy's and key stakeholder sub-segments. Below is a glimpse of a select few. |
|
Patients |
Patients are our most important stakeholders. We conduct patient interviews and based on their insights, redesign our products and services to suit them. We also run several special initiatives to enhance patients' understanding of the disease they are suffering from and help them manage their disease better. |
|
 |
|
Handholding Chronic Kidney
Disease (CKD) Patients |
|
Committed to Help, Educate and Encourage Renal patients - CHEER, is an endeavour to handhold patients during their journey through tough times. The initiative got the team closer to about 5,000 chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients and gave an opportunity to understand the difficulties and challenges faced by them. Based on the inputs received, customised renal charts/plans for dialysis and pre-dialysis patients were designed, and 'Aashayein' - patient get-together meetings were organised. |

|
Business Partners |
Business partners are our strongest allies and we need to be constantly aligned in
vision and action. |
|
Global Partners' Meet |
|
The PSAI Supply Chain Team hosted the 2014 Global Business Partners' Summit on 'Creating Value through Sustainable Partnerships'. Our leadership team shared Dr. Reddy's business outlook for the future,
provided key insights on how
the manufacturing and regulatory
landscape in the industry is expected to
change and emphasised on the
importance of teamwork and
collaboration to tackle these changes. |
We conducted a breakout session to
share our key challenges on quality,
delivery and compliance, and
brainstormed with the delegates to
evolve innovative solutions. During the
event, we also recognised some of our
partners for their outstanding work and
contribution to our success. |
|
For more initiatives on how
we engage with our
partners, refer to the
sustainable sourcing
section of this report. |
|
Employees |
We foster open communication
between employees and management
at all levels in the organisation through
formal and informal channels. |
|
Organisational Climate Survey |
Every two years, we conduct an Organisational Climate Survey, which covers all sections and locations of the company. Based on insights derived from the survey, a necessary action plan is charted out for each business or unit. We recently held a Gallup Survey for the organisation, where the response was about 83%, the results of which are being analysed. |
|
|
|
|
Open House |
An open forum where employees get an
audience with HR members or the
senior team of the location or business. |

|
Investors' Day |
Dr. Reddy's organised an investors' day
for interacting with pharma sector
analysts and the investor community on
'R&D investments'. |
The opening presentations were made
by our Co-Chairman & CEO and our
COO. These were followed by
presentations from leaders of Complex
Generics, Proprietary Products,
Biologics and Aurigene, wherein
challenges and opportunities of all
ongoing programmes were shared. |
This session was preceded by facility
tours of the IPDO and Biologics
development blocks to help investors
get a 'real-life' feel of the infrastructure
and capabilities. |
|
|
 |
|
The investors' day successfully
achieved the following: |
 |
Direct engagement with
Management Council |
|
 |
Articulation of our
differentiating capabilities |
|
 |
Laying out the risks &
opportunities for each vertical |
|
